Ryan Brown is a third generation home builder with nearly 20 years of residential construction management experience. After graduating from the University of Oregon in 2005, Ryan began framing houses and developed a skillset in modern building techniques. By 2007, Ryan was running jobs for a large regional homebuilder, overseeing all aspects of home construction on subdivisions across the Portland area and Southwest Washington. After many years of working for others, the time to launch his own homebuilding business came in 2020 and Dovetail Custom Homes was born.

Ryan has deep understanding of home design and prides himself on staying abreast of materials innovations and construction trends for the Pacific Northwest. “It’s important to me that we help our clients realize the full vision of their home plans. Room layouts and elevations, use of natural light to bring in the outdoors, finishes, fixtures, lighting, hardscapes- the way you feel in each space is perfectly curated to our clients unique needs.
